I walk in memory of 3 family members who lost their battles with breast cancer, and many other family and friends who lost their battles to other forms of cancer. When I meet people who have lost someone I have them write their name and something about them and carry this information with me on the walks. The direction of my life has been changed by breast cancer. The questions isn't if I will walk new year; it is where I will walk. I have 3 wonderful daughters who shouldn't have to grow up in a world with breast cancer as a threat.
